First is the wedding party entrance dance from Jill and Kevin’s wedding. It doesn’t matter that we don’t know them, it’s just wonderful. Apparently they only rehearsed a couple of times although Jill (the bride) is a professional dancer. I just love the moment she makes her entrance. I could watch this over and over again. Actually i do.

These next two clips are very personal as i was involved with them. The back story is that Rachel Santesso (who encouraged Lily Allen to take up singing) formed the Capital Children’s Choir in St. John’s Wood. This first song is a tribute to Lily, singing her beautifully simple “Chinese” (lyrics here) and the second is a tribute to Björk, singing her “Who is it?” The lyrics are here.

This was written for the film Hannibal but stands beautifully on its own. It is based on Dante’s “La Vita Nuova” (The New Life). I was once flogged in a fetish club with this playing and was so completely lost i felt as if i was on my way to heaven. I later wrote this.

Mmmm, “Vide Cor Meum”…the only good point in that heinous film.
